 100 artists, 100 masterpieces, 100% visual treat!100 Chairs is a fully youth-run project, supported by *scape and youth.sg. It aims to foster youth creativity and promote the arts as a platform for youths to contribute to the community. 100 artists will unleash their talents on 100 wooden chairs, which will then be auctioned off as pieces of art. All proceeds go to the SIngapore Children's Society. The chairs will be displayed from 3-11 Feb at the *scape Youth Park, kickstarted by a live chair-ity event on 3 Feb featuring youth bands, dancers and other performances. Finally a happy post!!  New Year's eve just passed, and I have to say i'm surprised that I had quite a bit of fun on that day. And to my dear gal, you sounded like you enjoyed yourself too! Glad that you did! And I love the photo on your blog...haha... That day really made me miss the good times we used to have....when we used to spend loads of time together. Though now we dont anymore...it just made me treasure the time we spend together even more. Missed you gal :D. Well...the day really started when we went to watch Deathnote 2. Havent watched Deathnote 1....and was planning on catching the marathon....but was too late to get the tix as it was sold out long ago. It was quite a bummer really...but glad that gal didnt mind watching DN 2 without part 1! Hehe....and so we went to watch. There's been quite a bit of hype around the movie. Everyone around me has been talking about it...partly because of the anime. Asked a friend of mine to send me the movie...who didn't...and made me watch from youtube...which i didnt have the patience to complete...haha. And so...went to watch DN 2 without knowing much of the background. I was expecting to be scared....but it wasn't scary at all. It was quite funny and interesting I must say. The characters are all distinctly characterised. I thought Ryuzaki was really cute....haha... The plot had many twists....had a bit of problem following at the start...but towards the end I sort of got the story already. Not the best movie I've seen...but definitely good enough for me to want to watch part 1 :D. After that....we were torn btw joining gal's frens at KTV...or catching the fireworks at the Esplanade. I was tempted to do both really...cos i really wanted to sing song...yet didnt want to spend the nite indoors. And so...we went to catch fireworks! I'm really glad i went. Cos the fireworks show was the best I've seen! I hadn't really been a big fan of fireworks...and so i hadn't been exposed to many of such shows. But am I glad i caught the new year's eve one...it was a captivating show really. Loved every part of it...the music...the flow...the colours. So beautiful while it lasted.... It only lasted for a short while...gave me a temporary high....and after that i felt kinda empty...a little lonely...god knows why... Met a few new friends that day too....and am i glad that they turned out to be alright...not some stuckup idiots whom i've met before in the past...and the night was fun :D hope every new year's eve can be as sweet and fun and beautiful like the last....i wonder what i will be doing next year.... Finally....our photo collection! Wahahahaha.....
